Ruby C. Goss, 86, a longtime resident of Creedmoor passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Brantwood Nursing Home.
A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Herman Edward and Pearl Chappell Coley. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church and was retired from Kayser-Roth and Bob’s Barbecue in Creedmoor.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Goss Hennis and husband Tony of Raleigh, two sisters; Delia Covington of Rockingham, Rosalie C. Ellington of Creedmoor, a brother, Tillman Coley (Linda) of Durham and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otho Thomas Goss.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor by Rev. James Smith and Rev. Dale Wallace. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Service from 12:30 – 2:00 at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times the home.
In lieu of Flowers, memorials can be made to Concord Baptist Church, 2509 E. Lyon Station Rd., Creedmoor, N.C. 27522.
